First time IVV PERMANENT WALKING TRAILS in Luxemburg
In the context of the
LEADER + community initiative, with the financial participation of the Ministry
of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development, the Ministry of the Middle
Classes, Tourism and Housing, the LEADER + communes, the Nature Parks and
various regional tourist offices, a common project planning and organizing in
the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg of Nordic walking Trails and
IVV Permanent walking Trails was carried out.
The Luxembourg Walking Federation
selected 9 trails and marked them with the IVV
signs.
In close collaboration with
local IVV clubs, youth hostels, hotels, golf club or sport shops the practical
side of the sale of IVV participation cards and IVV validation could be resolved.
A coloured flyer informs the walker about the the natural and cultural beauties
of the trail. This proceeding was highlighted in the different press releases
which were published after the official inauguration of the
9 trails.
